On December 16, the 300,000 m³ blast furnace gas holder of the Hansteel Relocation and Integration Project was successfully put into production. CERI is the general contractor of the works. The piston of the gas holder runs smoothly, and all operation indexes are superior to the industry standards, marking that the 300,000  m³ blast furnace gas holder of the Hansteel Relocation and Integration Project finished the commissioning with high quality and officially entered the production stage.

The gas holder works of the Hansteel Relocation and Integration Project is an important link of energy recycling of the Hansteel Relocation Project for which one 300,000 m³ gas holder and two 120,000 m³ converter gas holders are built. Phase I includes one 300,000 m³ gas holder and one 120,000 m³ converter gas holder and Phase II includes one 120,000 m³ converter gas holder. The 300,000 m³ blast furnace gas holder being put into production is used to store gas and balance the pressure of gas pipes, provide high-pressure and stable blast furnace gas for subsequent users, reduce emission of blast furnace gas and thus improve the utilization of blast furnace gas resources.
