On December 12, the summary meeting on Factory-wide Intelligent Plant Project of Fujian Dingsheng Steel Co., Ltd. built by CERI was successfully held in Dingsheng Steel Co., Ltd.


The Dingsheng Steel production line includes 2 UHP quantum electric furnaces, 2 LF ladle refining furnaces, 2 vacuum refining furnaces, 1 bow-type high-efficiency continuous caster, 1 section steel production line, 1 ESP thin slab endless rolling strip steel production line and the cold rolling workshop for subsequent processes. It is the first advanced ESP endless continuous casting and rolling production line using quantum electric furnace smelting technology in China, and the most advanced short-process production line in the world. The Dingsheng Steel Intelligent Plant Project was planned and constructed by CERI Dingyu Company. Based on the intelligent construction concept of "one map, one center and one platform" of CERI, an intelligent control center and a digital collaborative control platform were built, realizing the integrated operation and management of sales, production, energy, equipment, logistics, environmental protection and other departments and helping Dingsheng Steel achieve high-quality, low-cost, intelligent and green production and transform from Dingsheng manufacturing to Dingsheng intelligent manufacturing.


The project was officially commenced in June 2021, and its systems have been put into operation in batches since June 2022. Through the joint efforts of both parties, a digital control platform based on digital plant and big data platform has been built, realizing the transparent scheduling of the whole process from steel melting to section steel and ESP hot rolling and cold rolling, and the visualized operation and delicacy management of orders, inventory, plans, production, logistics and other businesses. It also helps Dingsheng Steel realize the smart energy management, optimal scheduling and ultra-low emission control aiming at environmental friendliness and the real-time dynamic monitoring of equipment operation parameters, status and alarm information so as to timely identify hazards, effectively reduce equipment failure rate and improve equipment service life.
