On Nov. 21st, No.1 reheating furnace for 1780mm hot rolling engineering in the Han Steel retreating-from-urban-area integrated project of HBIS group was successfully ignited.

Han Steel retreating-from-urban-area integrated project is the overall planning of HBIS group, important measures for adjusting product structure and the significant project for Han Steel iron and steel industry transformation and upgrading and green development. Among them, 1780mm hot rolling line mainly produces the deep-processing raw materials used for pickling, cold rolling and galvanizing, the types of steel produced are raw materials for cold rolling, carbon structural steel, carbon structural steel with high-quality, low alloy structural steel, automobile structural steel and pressure vessel steel, etc. The foundation equipment of reheating furnace and 2 supporting furnaces for production line are all contracted by CERI, at present, the installation progress of No.2 reheating furnace has already exceeded half.
