On November 30, the 1800 m3 Blast Furnace Energy-saving and Carbon Reduction Upgrading Project of Lvliang Jianlong Industrial Co., Ltd. designed by CERI held a start-up ceremony. The blast furnace was ignited at 20:16 and cast iron was successfully produced at 12:18 on December 1.

The Project adopts CERI's new furnace body cooling structure, blast furnace intelligent diagnosis system and other advanced technologies to carry out low-carbon and intelligent upgrading and transformation of the blast furnace body system, tuyere platform casthouse system, hot blast stove system and power, telecommunication, and broadcasting facilities. While ensuring that the elevation of the top flange remains unchanged, CERI combined successful experiences from previous blast furnace overhauls to design a reasonable furnace structure. Technological upgrades were implemented, completely addressing issues such as the unfavorable furnace condition and low output caused by the original blast furnace's excessive diameter and insufficient height, showcasing the extraordinary capabilities of CERI in blast furnace overhauls.

The design contract of the project was signed on August 1, and the furnace was shut down for overhaul on October 1. The overall construction period is 65 days, with a tight schedule and heavy workload. All process system drawings were finalized by October 1, perfectly aligning with the shutdown node. During the construction period, CERI actively collaborated with the Owner and the Construction Contractor, earning high praise from Lvliang Jianlong Industrial Co., Ltd.
