Recently, the Reconstruction Project of Fengtai Railway Station (Beijing Railway Hub) supervised by CERI won the 15th "China Steel Structure Gold Award for Outstanding Engineering" (only three projects in China have won the award), and F3 Other Multi-functional Land Use Projects in Plots D-07 and D-08 in the Southern Area of Lize Financial Business District in Fengtai District and the Comprehensive Research Institute Project for Key Systems of Fusion Reactor Main Engine of National Science Center won the 15th "Gold Award of China's Steel Structure Engineering".

The Gold Award of China's Steel Structure Engineering is the highest award for engineering quality in China's construction steel structure industry. The "China Steel Structure Gold Award for Outstanding Engineering" is the highest honor in the steel structure industry awards. It is awarded annually from the projects that have received the Gold Award of China's Steel Structure Engineering, with a maximum of three projects being selected each year.

As an important railway transportation hub that supports the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Beijing Fengtai Railway Station was officially put into operation on June 20, 2022 after four years of reconstruction and expansion. The main structure of the project is mainly rigid steel structure, with concrete frame and steel frame structures in some parts. Nearly 200,000 tons of steel were used for the steel structure, the number of steel structural members reached more than 10,000, and 140,000 tons of reinforcement were used. The station building has four aboveground floors and three underground floors. It undertakes the departure and arrival operations of Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Taiwan High-speed Railway, Fengtai-Shacheng Railway, Beijing-Yuanping Railway, Beijing-Shanghai Railway, Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Beijing suburban railways and other lines. It is deeply integrated with Beijing railway hubs such as Beijing Station, Beijing North Railway Station, Beijing West Railway Station and Beijing South Railway Station, playing an important role in optimizing the transportation structure of the capital, improving the comprehensive transportation system of the capital, facilitating people's travel and driving social and economic development.
