First of all, I would like to extend my heart-felt gratitude to friends from all sectors of society for your constant care and support for CERI.

CERI, with a glorious history of 70 years, is the earliest state-level large-scale scientific and technological enterprise engaged in metallurgical engineering consulting, design and engineering contracting business in China. As the vanguard of “National Metallurgical Construction Team”, CERI has shouldered the responsibility and undertaking of building and constructing international first-class iron and steel enterprises in the last 70 years. Serving the country with its technologies, CERI has participated in the completion of new projects, reconstruction projects and expansion projects for more than 500 iron and steel enterprises at home and abroad including Baosteel, HBIS, Ansteel and Shougang. It has constructed great projects for the country one after another and witnessed great progress of the steel industry of the new China, from following others, to developing to the same level, and then to leading in the industry around the world. After the unveiling of the new century, CERI has gradually transplanted metallurgical construction technologies to the fields of urban construction and environmental protection, and later formed a “One Core, Two Strengths and N Growths” business structure, thus opening the new chapter of enterprise transformation development.

Through 70 years’ hard work and development, the spirit of “Good at Learning and Brave in Exploring, Practicing and Undertaking Responsibilities” has been cultivated, continuously inspiring our people from generations to generations. This spirit has also continuously developed trough inheritance, thus formed CERI’s enterprise mission of “Improving Value with Innovation and Building Future with Sincerity” and enterprise values of “Integrity, Innovation, Growth and Efficiency”, laying an unbreakable foundation for the future long-term development of CERI.

The new era requires new responsibilities, and new journey needs new action. Standing at the important historical intersection, CERI will further strengthen its confidence, determination and perseverance in reform and development, inherit the past and forge ahead into the future, practice our responsibility as the vanguard of national metallurgical construction team, and build a well-founded “century-old enterprise” by sticking to the “1234” development strategy featuring “One Goal, Two Driving Wheels, Three Upgrades and Four Breakthroughs” and the business development orientation of “1+2+N”.
