On the morning of July 30, the blast furnace ignition ceremony of Linyi special steel project generally contracted by CERI was successfully held, which means that the project of the whole process special steel base with an annual output of 2.7 million tons has entered an accelerated stage.

Linyi special steel project generally contracted by CERI adopts the intelligent manufacturing system of CERI with independent intellectual property rights, the high-end technical equipment of international advanced level, and the customized production line that can realize green circulation. It is the first special steel base with full technological process that is wholly undertaken, implemented and completed at one time by a single engineering company in the metallurgical industry.

Integrate cutting-edge technologies and activate the "new" life of steel enterprises. By deeply integrating its intelligent manufacturing experience in iron and steel industry for years with the most advanced Internet micro services, artificial intelligence and other technologies, CERI has created an intelligent manufacturing system for Linyi special steel project. The system is based on the new generation of industrial Internet platform, including the company's intelligent control center, digital twin factory, full process production management system, big data quality analysis platform, smart energy, intelligent equipment and other core components, laying a solid foundation for the intelligent development of iron and steel enterprises. In addition, CERI has also applied recyclable technology in the project to realize the synchronous operation of three major functions of iron and steel making, energy conversion and waste disposal.

Linyi Special Steel will become the largest long process special steel production base newly built in China in the past decade, with an annual output value of 15 billion yuan, a tax of 2.3 billion yuan, and more than 4,000 new jobs.  It will bring great benefits to the economy of Linyi Lingang Development Zone,  set a banner for the high-end stainless steel and advanced special steel manufacturing industrial cluster with a planned area of 24 square kilometers and a production capacity of 14 million tons in Linyi Lingang and boost the accelerated conversion of old and new drivers, transformation and upgrading of economic and social development across the board.
