The new generation industrial Internet architecture and digital intelligent products of CERI make a debut at the 5th Digital China Summit

On July 23, 2022, the new generation industrial Internet architecture and series digital intelligent products independently designed and developed by CERI made a debut at the 5th Digital China Summit. The summit, with the theme of "Innovation drives new change and digital leads new pattern", was co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and Fujian Provincial People's Government. Under the guidance of Minmetals Group, CERI participated with many subsidiaries such as Minmetals Development to demonstrate a series of achievements made by Minmetals Group on the road of enterprise digital transformation and informatization reform.

At the summit site, CERI demonstrated a new generation of industrial Internet architecture designed and developed independently to promote industrial digital and intelligent reform. Based on the industrial Internet and big data technology, the architecture has broken through the traditional five-level information architecture, created a data integration platform, realized the integration and penetration of production, energy, logistics, environmental protection, equipment, security, quality and other comprehensive business data so as to eliminate data islands, build a new generation of smart factory and intelligent manufacturing information platform, and boost the digital transformation of the industrial field.

CERI has, based on the new generation of industrial Internet architecture, created a series of digital products such as intelligent production control system, smart energy management system, big data analysis system, smart grid system, high-performance frequency converter, digital twin factory, intelligent control center and rod and wire intelligent workshop.

The intelligent production control system aims at "intelligent, efficient, collaborative and green" and is characterized by flattening, integration and intelligence. It realizes the intelligence of production management through industrial Internet, digital twin, virtual simulation, intelligent production scheduling and industrial big data, and achieves the intelligent management of the whole production process of steel and iron enterprises ranging from order, production scheduling, quality, operation, cost to inventory delivery.

The smart energy management system, combined with the status quo of energy management in iron and steel enterprises, utilizes the new generation of digital technology and unattended technology to create a new generation of energy management and control system, realize the integrated and unmanned management of water, electricity, air and gas in iron and steel enterprises, and improve the energy utilization rate and achieve efficient energy dispatching management by combining the dynamic dispatching models such as gas and power load forecasting and power generation optimized control.

The big data analysis platform of the metallurgical industry integrates and deeply excavates deep-seated production knowledge, optimal operating conditions and optimal control system, and is fully applied to the whole-process quality analysis and control, intelligent equipment operation and maintenance, refined cost analysis, intelligent production scheduling and other aspects of the iron and steel industry.

The digital twin factory, relying on the digital design system of CERI, has built a digital twin factory platform for the whole process of pre-iron making, iron making, steel making and steel rolling. Based on the industrial Internet platform, it integrates the data of order, production, energy, environmental protection, logistics, security, quality and other business processes and all production factors in the twin scene, and truly creates an industry-leading and world-class whole-process digital twin factory for the iron and steel industry.

The intelligent control center focuses on the production scheduling of personnel involving the whole process of iron making, steel making and steel rolling, covering the management personnel of the whole business of energy, equipment and logistics, and realizes the integrated intelligent operation across departments and businesses. Through the control platform, the scheduling personnel can quickly grasp the production rhythm and real-time operation status of the whole plant, realize multi-disciplinary collaborative control, improve the overall control efficiency and raise the management level.

Aiming at the problems of iron and steel enterprises such as low intelligence level of the power grid, low automation level of power grid operation and control, and insufficient information integration, the enterprise power grid intelligent management and control system has created a CPS system architecture for the power grid of ten million ton class iron and steel enterprises, built the world's first enterprise power grid intelligent management and control platform with automation of power flow control as the core, and realized the safe power grid operation, automatic power flow control, panorama-based data collection, standardized equipment operation and maintenance, intelligent accident handling, visual intelligent linkage, and orderly and efficient power consumption. It has saved about 339 million yuan per year for the 10 million ton class iron and steel enterprises, and reduced more than 90% of the enterprise's grid operation and maintenance personnel. It has reached the international leading level after being identified by the Chinese Society for Metals.

The new generation intelligent integrated solution for rod and wire workshop takes the core issues concerned by the production line as the foothold, carries out trend, causal analysis and predictive judgment through "collaborative optimization", and sends the analysis results and decisions to the automation system in the way of optimizing the set parameters and optimizing the operation guidance to realize the real-time optimization of the automation system. The solution has been put into use in quite a few rod and wire intelligent workshop projects, and the intelligent centralized control of rod and wire production has been successfully realized. Compared with the conventional way, it has improved 10% in comprehensive production efficiency, 15% in product quality stability and 5% in energy utilization rate, indicating that the solution is at the international leading level as a whole.

The high-performance low-voltage frequency converter, independently developed by CERI, covers the field of 400V-690V low-voltage variable-frequency motors, with a power range of 7.5kW- 4000kW, and can be replaced within 15 minutes. The unique fault black box function records all core data in 2 seconds before and after the fault, summarizes 80 typical fault types on the industrial site, and realizes accurate fault location and rapid troubleshooting. From 2019 to 2021, it won the first prize of the "Finals of China Innovation Methods Competition" for three consecutive years.
