On November 26, the successful ignition of the 1# heating furnace in the 1,450 mm hot rolling line of ESSB Phase II 2.7 MT Project undertaken by MCC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited ("CERI") was witnessed.

CERI designed and supplied two customized regenerative heating furnaces for ESSB, marking another milestone in the application of regenerative heating furnaces overseas. The equipment is completely manufactured in China, greatly helping China's metallurgical technology and standards go abroad. ASME standards are adopted for supervising and inspecting pressure vessel equipment to escort the export of special equipment. Additionally, CERI applied an automatic intelligent billet reheating control system in two heating furnaces, which has been a model of digitization, intelligence and high efficiency in Malaysia's steel industry and contributed to the development of intelligence in Malaysia's metallurgical manufacturing industry.
