The ANKIROS/ANNOFER/TURKCAST 2024 was held at the Istanbul Expo Center, Yeşilköy, Turkey, on September 19–21. The booth of China MCC was jointly attended by seven subsidiaries including Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited (CERI).
At the Exhibition, CERI, as the "Expert in Comprehensive Solutions for Iron and Steel Enterprises", successfully exhibited its brand core with technological innovation serving as the essential power and demonstrated the brand service with "craftsmanship, quality, and sincere construction". Moreover, CERI's comprehensive strength in hydrogen metallurgy technologies, low-carbon consultation experience, whole metallurgical process and engineering services for full life cycles was recognized by the enterprises that participated in and communicated at the Exhibition. During the Exhibition, CERI's exhibition personnel met the leaders of leading iron and steel enterprises from various countries, especially key steel customers from the Middle East region, and exchanged views on the company's technology development, experience in project construction, and regional industry trends.
The ANKIROS/ANNOFER/TURKCAST has been held since 1992. With the advantage of Turkey's unique geographical location, the Exhibition's influence radiates to Asia, Europe and Africa, providing a platform for exhibitors from all over the world to fully display their technologies and communicate with each other. The Fair has significantly influenced the global metallurgy field. The Exhibition consisted of three themes, i.e. International Iron–Steel, Foundry, Non-Ferrous Metallurgy Technologies, Machinery and Products Trade Fair", "Non-Ferrous Metals Technology, Machinery and Products Special Section" and "International Foundry Products Trade Fair", and covered an area of up to 70,000 m2. A total of 1,137 companies from 42 countries participated in the Exhibition, during which the cumulative number of visitors reached nearly 20,000.
The booth of China MCC was composed of a video display area, a model display area and an image-text data display area. The Exhibition site was crowded, with customers from the metallurgical industry all over the world coming in an endless stream. At the Exhibition site, CERI's overseas business team actively exhibited CERI's advantages of advanced technology products and engineering services to global customers, arousing frequent interactions and a lively atmosphere of communication at the site. The cooperation intentions between CERI and potential customers were enhanced through in-depth communication.
CERI was among the first batch of EPC pilot units in China, and has an overseas EPC history dating back to the 1980s. Through generations of unremitting efforts, CERI has established solid business cooperation with iron and steel enterprises from 35 countries around the world and developed profound friendships with countries along the Belt and Road. In over 150 overseas projects covering the whole metallurgical process for full life cycles, CERI has implemented the national initiative and provided services for the regions and countries along the Belt and Road, contributing to a good Chinese enterprise image. CERI strives to play a role that links the iron and steel industry development in the Middle East and strengthens regional cooperation and communication. CERI has been in sincere cooperation with several leading metallurgical enterprises in the region, marking a new chapter of friendship and mutual trust. In recent years, CERI has continuously promoted further exploring international metallurgical markets and localized operation, enhanced the mutual benefit with global partners, and fully supported the high-end, intelligent and green transformation and upgrading of the international iron and steel industry.
For the Exhibition, a promotional video of CERI and a metallurgical brochure by CERI as well as 7 short videos and 10 introduction brochures about mainstay technology products for overseas markets played a main role in an all-round exhibition of CERI's business pattern of "3 pillars and 2 expansion wings", i.e. 3 main business fields (ironmaking, steelmaking and rolling) and 2 special business fields (ultimate energy efficiency and green & low-carbon). In this way, CERI's competitiveness and brand influence in the global metallurgy field were shown. In the future, CERI will continue to focus on the international high-end metallurgical market, give full play to its own advantages, create industry value with first-class services and quality, and contribute innovative technical support and engineering experience to the sustainable development of the global iron and steel industry.
