On September 11, the hot test run of a large six-roller and six-stand pickling line-tandem cold mill constructed by MCC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited (CERI) for Rizhao Yulan New Materials Co. Ltd. succeeded. This major achievement marks another major breakthrough made by CERI in this field. 

The new pickling line-tandem cold mill undertaken by CERI has an annual output of 700 kt and a maximum speed of 1,450 m/min, with product specifications of 1,100 mm (max)×0.15 mm (min). The Line will successfully realize the overall improvement of Rizhao Yulan in terms of product quality, yield, reduction of energy consumption and intelligentization. 

Based on the production features of tinned and chrome-plated sheet coils, CERI independently developed and successfully designed the first large, high-speed, high-precision and high-intelligence six-roller and six-stand pickling line-tandem cold mill. The Line is equipped with various compensation functions, such as automatic control of hydraulic roll gaps, roll gap presetting, screw-down tilt control, rolling force control, single-side rolling force control, AGC gain self-adaption, rolling mill eccentricity compensation, acceleration compensation of entry bridle rolls, rolling mill stiffness correction and plastic stiffness correction of rolled pieces. The Line can provide products as thin as 0.15 mm with a screw-down rate of 93%.
