On May 30, China Metallurgical Information and Standardization Institute held a standard review conference of the Metallurgical Intelligent Manufacturing Standardization Working Group of the Technical Committee on Steel of Standardization Administration of China in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. The Technical Requirements for Intelligent Power Grid Control System in Iron and Steel Industry" with CERI and CERI Digital Technology Co., Ltd. respectively at the chief and participating compilation units passed the review.
The Technical Requirements for Intelligent Power Grid Control System in Iron and Steel Industry fills the gap of the iron and steel industry in the construction of intelligent power grid control system for enterprises, and specifies the overall requirements, architecture, perception execution layer, data platform layer and control application layer of the system in detail. It is of great value to guide the planning, design and construction of intelligent power grid control system in the iron and steel industry, and has a far-reaching positive impact on promoting industrial development and creating economic and social benefits.
The intelligent power grid control system developed by CERI Digital Technology Co., Ltd. has solved the key problems of power grid management encountered by many enterprises, such as low utilization rate of self-generated electricity, high electricity expenditures, large load impact and insufficient safety and stability in power grid operation. The system closely integrates information technologies such as big data, cloud computing, and Internet of Things (IoT) with enterprise power grid management to realize core functions such as safe operation of the power grid, intelligent dispatching, Generation-Grid-Load-Storage integrated operation, whole-grid data acquisition, intelligent equipment O&M, accurate accident analysis, intelligent auxiliary monitoring, orderly power utilization decision-making and digital twinning of the power grid. It greatly improves the intelligent management level of enterprises' power grids and helps enterprises maximize utilization of facilities for new energy power generation, energy storage, and residual energy self-generation, thus reducing losses caused by power failure, saving electricity expenditures, and significantly reducing O&M costs. The system has been widely promoted and applied in multiple iron and steel enterprises, saving about RMB 300 million per year for ten-million-ton iron and steel enterprises, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 0.033 tons/ton of steel, and reducing demand for power grid O&M personnel by 90%. It has remarkable economic and social benefits, is of great significance to further improve energy conservation and emission reduction in the iron and steel industry, and plays a role in achieving the goal of "carbon dioxide peaking and carbon neutrality".
