CERI Attend 2024 National Ironmaking Production Technology Conference and Academic Annual Conference
From April 11 to 12, 2024 National Ironmaking Production Technology Conference and Academic Annual Meeting sponsored by the Chinese Society for Metals and its Ironmaking Branch was successfully held in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, with the theme of "low carbon, low cost, high efficiency, and high quality".
The participants at the Conference include industry experts such as Jiang Tao, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Tian Zhiling, executive vice chairman of the Chinese Society for Metals, Wang Xinjiang, vice chairman and secretary-general of the Chinese Society for Metals, and Yang Tianjun, former president of University of Science and Technology Beijing. More than 510 experts, scholars, and representatives of scientific and technological workers from more than 150 organizations such as national iron and steel enterprises, research institutes, universities, engineering technology companies, and upstream and downstream ironmaking enterprises gathered together to exchange and discuss the technological progress and development trend in technical research, production and application in China's ironmaking field in recent years, display the latest technological achievements, and explore the hot and challenging issues and solutions in the industry.
The Conference has attracted great attention from all communities, with a total of 150 technical exchange papers received and 89 exchange reports arranged. CERI was invited to the Conference. It organized employees to contribute 4 papers and gave 2 presentations, which publicized CERI's technology and expanded its influence and were highly affirmed by industry experts.
The report, Low-nitrogen Rotary Cutting Top Combustion Type Hot Blast Stove Technology, briefly introduces the industry background of innovation in hot blast stove technology and existing problems. Based on the analysis of different technical challenges in the industry, it proposes CERI's targeted and innovative technology, the rotary cutting top combustion type hot blast stove technology. It demonstrates the technological superiority of the stove by introducing relevant main achievements and economic & social benefits.
The report, Long Service Life Technology for Blast Furnaces of CERI, introduces the main cooling structures in the high heat load area of blast furnaces, analyzes the causes of damage in cast iron cooling walls in the area in detail, and introduces CERI's latest progress in research and design of new cooling structures, as well as its exploration and latest technological achievements in long service life technology for blast furnaces.
CERI will adhere to the industry theme of "Low Carbon, Low Cost, High Efficiency and High Quality", fight hard in research for key technologies, and make every effort to build CERI's technology brand. CERI will continue to innovate in green, low carbon, high efficiency, and intelligent technology, provide all-round solutions for steel enterprises, and actively promote the formation of new productivity in the ironmaking industry.
