The No.4 Galvanizing Line of Cold Rolling Project Phase II in operation at Hebei Jingye Group
On March 15, the No.4 Galvanizing Line of Cold Rolling Project Phase II of Hebei Jingye Group, which was designed and supplied by CERI, passed the one-time thermal load test successfully. The Line exhibited stable operation with all performance indicators meeting standards and proceeded into the trial production phase.
The No.4 Galvanizing Line of Cold Rolling Project Phase II of Hebei Jingye Group is designed to produce 300,000 tons of pure zinc continuously hot dip coated steel (GI) annually. The product can find broad applications in household appliances, automotive, equipment manufacturing, and various other industries. The Line, independently designed by CERI, incorporates state-of-the-art technological innovations. It features a servo hydraulic fluid system, unbundling and label recognition robots, efficient cleaning system, converter nose zinc ash control, double-roll skin pass + tension-straightening combined shape control, chromium-free servo roll coating passivation, online roll surface cleaning, labeling robot, and other advanced equipment technologies. These advancements enable full automation of the process and ensure leading-edge process equipment in China, capable of operating at speeds up to 180 m/min. The Line incorporates various green and low-carbon technologies, including the USS process vertical annealing furnace, low energy consumption-low NOx-high precision radiant tube heating, high-efficiency in-furnace steering technology, waste heat cascade utilization, and flue gas denitration, aiming at achieving ultra-low emission levels. Production practice shows that the continuous hot-dip galvanizing line has a remarkable effect on energy saving and consumption reduction, which is at the leading level in China. It can reduce costs and increase efficiency while ensuring quality and output.
CERI had previously constructed two pickling and rolling production lines for Hebei Jingye Group before the successful commissioning of the No. 4 Galvanizing Line this time.
