On March 16, Tongling Jingchang Steel Products Co., Ltd.'s No.2 Heating Furnace for 3,500 mm wide and thick plates, contracted by CERI Phoenix Industrial Furnace Co., Ltd., was successfully ignited.

In the Project, a 3,500mm wide and thick plate production line was constructed, targeting high value-added and competitive products including high-quality carbon structural steel plates, low-alloy structural steel plates, pipeline steel plates, shipbuilding plates, pressure vessel plates, and bridge plates. CERI Phoenix Industrial Furnace Co., Ltd., serving as the general contractor, was responsible for the construction of two heating furnaces for the production line. The No. 1 heating furnace had been put into operation, with normal operation state.

The Project utilizes the double-regenerative combustion technology independently developed by CERI Phoenix Industrial Furnace Co., Ltd., along with intelligent control systems including centralized commutation by side and by section, automatic adjustment of air-fuel ratio and heat supply in each section, and automatic furnace pressure control. Various energy-saving measures are implemented to meet design objectives of high efficiency, top quality, reduced energy consumption, environmentally friendly practices, and automated production operations. The equipment level and main technical and economic indicators will meet industry-leading standards domestically.
