CERI's 1250 mm galvanizing/aluminizing project for PT. Lautan Steel Indonesia successfully completed the design review on September 20, officially entering the comprehensive implementation stage.
The project involves the construction of two continuous coating production lines capable of producing various coated strip products: The product of the #1 galvanizing unit is a dual-purpose line for GL and GI, with reserved capacity for zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating products; the #2 galvanizing line is a dedicated production line for GL, with reserved production capacity for home appliance board products. To meet local Indonesian demand for extremely thin coated products, the new 1250 mm galvanizing/aluminizing line is capable of producing ultra-thin coated plates as thin as 0.12 mm. Given the characteristics of ultra-thin plates, CERI has completely redesigned the production line, independently developed core equipment with proprietary intellectual property rights, and equipped it with internationally renowned detection devices to ensure the stable operation and production of thin strip products. At the same time, the line is green, low-carbon, and environmentally-friendly, with various green energy-saving measures such as dual-stage heat exchange technology, flue gas preheating strip steel technology, and waste heat recovery technology. These measures can save up to 30% in fuel consumption, significantly improve energy conservation, effectively reduce the concentration of NOx in flue gas, and meet regional emission standards.
