On March 28, Shanxi Jingang No.2 Sintering Hydrogen-rich Injection Project, contracted by CERI, was successfully hot tested. At present, the injection effect is good and the production indicators are normal. This is another sincere cooperation between CERI and Shanxi Jingang Group Co., Ltd. in low-carbon hydrogen metallurgy series projects after the No.1 hydrogen-rich sintering project.
The sintering hydrogen-rich gas injection technology is an auxiliary device for injection independently developed by CERI, which changes the traditional solid-phase fuel sintering mode. Using hydrogen-rich gas to supplement heat to the upper material layer, not only can it reduce solid fuel consumption and NOx emissions, but it is also conducive to realizing "soaking sintering", thus further improving the output and quality of the sinter. Through the engineering practice and production exploration of the No.1 sintering hydrogen-rich injection, the R&D and design team, and production operators have accumulated valuable experience. No.2 sintering injection unit not only has the advantages of being highly adjustable, cascade injection, and secondary airflow distribution, but also has improved and optimized the nozzle layout, nozzle structure, and lifting device. The practice shows that the injection system for this application has been comprehensively improved in terms of stability, safety, and applicability.
