Tianjin Rongcheng No. 4 Blast Furnace Low-carbon Upgrade And Reconstruction Project Successfully Started Production
On August 21 at 11:08 am, the low-carbon upgrade project of the No. 4 blast furnace of Tianjin Rongcheng United Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., contracted by CERI Metallurgical Company, began to ignite and supply air. The iron production successfully started at 11:06 pm. It marks the smooth commissioning of the Tianjin Rongcheng No. 4 blast furnace low-carbon upgrade project.
The Tianjin Rongcheng No. 4 blast furnace low-carbon upgrade and reconstruction project is a Major Project for Tianjin Rongcheng United Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. to carry out industrial upgrading and adjustment and realize the green environmental protection and low-carbon strategy. As the design, equipment supply, and project management company, the CERI project team insists on creating high-quality projects and demonstration projects as the goal. Relying on the domestic leading technological advantages, through the optimization of the general plan design and technological upgrading, the maximum utilization of resources has been realized, and the equipment level of the blast furnace has been improved. The No. 4 blast furnace adopts several patented technologies, including a rotary top-fired hot blast stove with completely independent intellectual property rights of CERI, full recovery of uniform pressure gas on top of the furnace, and a new combined cooling structure. CERI has laid a solid foundation for achieving the goals of high output, high quality, low consumption, and longevity through the right blast furnace types and smelting processes such as concentrate, oxygen enrichment, and coal injection.
