On August 18, Yue Wenyan, Chairman of CERI led a team to participate in the ignition ceremony of the No. 1 Blast Furnace Hot Blast Stove of the old district integration project of HBIS Group Co. Ltd (HBIS). Li Tie, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of CERI, Secretary of the Party Committee, and General Manager of Metallurgical Company, delivered a speech.

The HBIS Handan Iron and Steel Old District Retirement Integration Project is a Major Project for the transformation, upgrading, and green development of HBIS and the largest-scale overall relocation project of urban steel mills under construction in China. As the general contractor of multiple unit projects, CERI adheres to the goal of creating high-quality projects and demonstration projects and relies on domestic leading technical advantages to optimize the design of the general plan and upgrade the technology - it realizes the maximum utilization of resources, improves the equipment level of the original production line, and lays a solid foundation for the future high-quality development of Handan Iron and Steel.

Affected by the pandemic, the construction of the Handan Iron and Steel project has encountered many unprecedented challenges. Especially in the construction of the general contracting project of the hot blast stove, CERI has been practicing the spirit of the contract and achieved the fastest design drawing, the shortest procurement and delivery time, and 24-hour normalized construction. It only took less than 13 months from the foundation excavation of the hot blast furnace to the condition of the ignition, showing "Jingcheng speed" and "Jingcheng responsibility".
