In September, despite negative circumstances such as tight schedule, high technological requirements, limited space of construction sites, and recurring COVID-19 pandemics, CERI Phoenix Furnace's teams successfully launched three projects within 15 days.

Project 1: The furnace of the second medium diameter bar rolling line of the Linyi Special Steel Project started operation

In September 9, the furnace of the second medium diameter bar rolling line of the Linyi Special Steel Project started operation. The Linyi Special Steel Project of Linyi Iron and Steel Investment Group Special Steel Co., Ltd. is the largest special steel production base newly built in China in the past ten years. CERI Phoenix Furnace is responsible for constructing three furnaces for three product lines: the first medium diameter bar rolling line, the second medium diameter bar rolling line, and the small diameter bar rolling line. As of now, the furnaces of the first and second medium diameter bar rolling lines have been completed and put into operation. As the rolling line starts operation, furnaces are running stably, and all indicators are positive. The small diameter bar rolling line is currently under construction.

Project 2: The second furnace overhaul project of Rizhao Steel Yingkou Medium Plate started operation

On September 12, the second furnace overhaul project of Rizhao Steel Yingkou Medium Plate started operation CERI Phoenix Furnace is responsible for the overhaul and renovation of the first furnace of the thick plate plant and the first and second furnaces of the medium thick plant of Rizhao Steel Yingkou Medium Plate Co., Ltd. As of now, the first furnace of the thick plate plant and the first furnace of the medium thick plate have been reconstructed and put into use. These two furnaces are operating smoothly. Among them, the furnace of the thick plate plant adopts the low nitrogen regenerative burner independently developed by CERI Phoenix Furnace, which plays an effective role in reducing material consumption and enabling ultra-low emissions.

Project 3: The second furnace of the furnace upgrading project for the 2250mm hot rolling line of Hansteel Hanbao Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. started operation.

On September 24, the second furnace of the furnace upgrading project for the 2250mm hot rolling line of Hansteel Hanbao Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. started operation. The 2250mm hot rolling line of Hansteel Hanbao Iron and Steel Co. Ltd.. is the fourth world-leading steel hot rolling line (with a 2250mm hot rolling mill) in China. Four furnaces are included in this projects, and all of them are contracted by CERI Phoenix Furnace. As of now, the first and second refurbished furnaces have run stably. The other two furnaces will also be upgraded in the upcoming days.
