The West Ring Road of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway (Phase 1) Supervised by CERI Opened to Traffic

Recently, a live test of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway (Phase 1) supervised by CERI Ceris has been successfully completed. This marked that the first phase of the West Ring Road was fully opened to traffic.


The purpose of live railway testing was to confirm collaboration between the vehicle and the catenary system, and test the power supply system, the catenary system, and the vehicle system. It is key to "the opening of the railway to traffic". Lasting three days, the live test ran through the entire first phase of the West Ring Road and the Jiuhua Vehicle Base. After the test, the pantograph and the catenary system operated smoothly during live railway testing at low, medium, and high speeds. All indicators comlied with requirements, indicating desirable performance. The tram ran smoothly and complied with the requirements of design standards and specifications. This marked the success of the live test.


As of now, the first phase of the West Ring Road has been completed after the construction of the tunnel, track and electrical system, and the opening of the railway to traffic. The main structures of eight stations along the railway line have been completed, and key system equipment has been installed. The annex building, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, and decoration projects have entered into the final stage, equipment debugging and road restoration have started in full swing, and the execution of various inspection tasks have been accelerated.
