Partial sections of the southern extension of Hefei Metro Line 3 supervised by CERIS was successfully connected

On Mar. 8th , the right line of section from Xiapaihe station to Guanyi road station and the right line of section from Ruici road station to Yunxiao road station of the southern extension for Hefei Metro Line3 supervised by Beijing CERIS International Engineering & Consulting Co., Ltd (hereafter referred as CERIS) were successfully connected at the same day, which is the third and the fourth single-line connection section of the southern extension of Hefei Metro Line3. 


The right line of section from Xiapaihe station to Guanyi road was launched from the shield on Sep. 15th of 2021, which was successfully connected through 174 days; the right line of section from Ruici road station to Yunxiao road station was launched from the shield on Aug. 4th of 2021, which was successfully connected trough 216 days. The project has engineering control difficulties such as the floating control of segments in the weathered argillaceous sandstone formation in high rich water,etc. In this regard, during the process of shield tunneling, CERIS strictly controlled the quality of simultaneous grouting of shield and secondary grouting, to avoid problems such as segment floating and misplacement, no safety incident occurred.  


Morning meeting system was performed by CERIS during the supervision process, daily site patrol problems was timely feedback to the director office, director and general agent visited on site to help supervision and solve problems. Supervisors on site conducted 24-hour uninterrupted patrol to inspect the situation of construction work, to prevent and resolve major safety risks from the source. Adhere to the construction supervision of “Quality and Standardization”, supervision control of the whole process was performed, to conduct 24-hour, all-round and full perspective monitoring management for the shield tunneling machine, effectively ensure that the shield tunneling parameters are normal, and comprehensively ensure the safe and orderly progress of construction on site.
