Recently, CERI successfully signed the contract of Capacity Replacement and Upgrading Power Generation Project with Yukun Iron and Steel group.

This project adopts contract energy management mode, which is invested, built and operated by the KTCN, CERI is in charge of design and supply of core equipment, including 2×330t/h ultra-high temperature sub-critical gas boiler, 2×100MW intermediate single-reheat condensing steam turbine, 2×110MW generator units and its supporting public and auxiliary facilities with making efficient use of the abundant gas in the overall site for power generation, and 1×15MW generator units with steel-making residual heat and supporting facilities and 1×25MW generator units with sintering residual heat and supporting facilities to achieve comprehensive utilization of low-voltage steam. Ultra-high temperature sub-critical gas power generation is the mainstream model of the current iron and steel industry. The thermal efficiency of the whole plant is as high as 41%, which is more than 30% higher than the efficiency of the traditional high temperature and high pressure. The energy saving benefit is remarkable, which can play a strong supporting role in realizing high-quality development of enterprises.
