On December 2, the hot test launch ceremony of CERI Longteng Special Steel's electric furnace green technology transformation project was held. At 16:20 on the same day, the first heat of steel was produced from the electric furnace, and at 18:58, the continuous casting machine (CCM) successfully started to cast billets, marking the successful completion and operation of the Project.

CERI undertook the whole-process consulting and design and CCM supply of the Project, providing Longteng Special Steel with a number of green and low-carbon technical services such as high-quality special steel continuous casting, large environmentally friendly material sheds, energy reuse and new energy equipment. At the beginning of project scheme consultation and design, CERI and Longteng Special Steel carried out several special scheme studies on dual-control of energy consumption and green low carbon. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as field visits at home and abroad, benchmarking analysis and exchange, renewable energy utilization, carbon sink, capacity replacement, low-carbon technology research and development. The Project has advanced design indicators, mature process routes, reliable equipment and technologies and optimal project investment. In terms of the general layout and ecological environment of the plant area, CERI plans and designs it as a 5A industrial scenic spot, which can realize functions such as industrial visit, education and practice.
